1. Week 1

During the first week of planting pechay vegetable, the seeds will start to germinate. Oftenly the seeds of pechay is being growth inside the seedbox or seed tray.

After growing it on a seedbox it will start to germinate. Usually it takes 3 to 6 days in order for seeds to produce roots and small leaves. A tiny leaves will appear as if you try to observe.

2. Week 2

The next pechay growin period is during the week 2 of planting pechay, it will grow better. This week you will transplant the pechay seedlings into its final designation.

You need to prepare well your gardens plot and after that you will plant the pechay seedlings. You need to get some trowel and container. You will put the seedlings inside the container and after that you will go to your gardens plot.

3. Week 3

In putting the organic fertilizer you need to just put it on the base of the vegetable. After few days you will see that the leaves will grow well.

4. Week 4

This is a the transition period where the pechay plants turn to a vegetable where you can cook it. The parts of the pechay continues to grow. And every part of it continues to hardening. This is the week where you can see a lot of changes.

You need to see for the pest that may attack. Remove them if you see some and need to apply organic pesticides if you see more pests. Yes there are organic pesticides which is good in gardening.

The one example of the organic pesticides is the pepper. It is being mix to the sprayer with water and spray it to the plants.

5. Week 5

This is a period where you can start harvesting pechay. During this week the 30 days process is being completed. The leaves of the pechay are enough and have a right sizes. This has a great in color and it is capable to cook.

Harvesting a pechay vegetable can be done in two ways. One is to get one to four leaves every pechay or get the whole pechay and uproot it. If you have many pechay, you can uproot a pechay but when you have a small size pechay garden you can get one to four leaves per pechay.

6. Week 6

During this week you can continues to harvest pechay leaves. During this time the leaves of the pechay continues to hardening and it grows bigger. You can observe that the leaves turn to more dark green and makes crispy. The stalk is color white and it is also makes more hard.

The pechay also grows taller. It needs more sunlight and more water in order to grow into its maximum. You need to apply more water so that it will grow better.

7. Week 7+

This week is the period where the pechay vegetable started to mature its flower and turn it into seeds. This is a way of making pechay seeds out of the flower.

Pechay produces seeds during this stage. The seeds of the pechay are small and black in color. This is the way of creating seeds.
